Collage on Rivoli off-white paper backed with foam board. Self-portrait taken on an iPhone was printed on acetate and laid over a drawing. Niamh scratched the print with scissors to remove the ink from the acetate to reveal a drawing beneath. The drawing (in archival black ink) was the result of an art therapy session as part of a queer online outpatient program the artist attended September through November 2022. The text “This” and “Nowhere” are clippings from an old copy of The New York Times.
